Step 1?
Hi Tim, John here from northern NY. Ive tried to email you with questions but im sure your a busy man. I read alot about you on my ford forum and i am to the point where i am sending my block and heads to the machine shop. I know step 1 is finding out my bore size from the machine shop in order to purchase your 400m pistons but i would like to talk to you and make a partlist before i add your stroker kit to my cart and purchase it or before i tell my machinest to put his own parts back in. I know your crankshafts are out till april that is fine with me my truck is hibernating. I am new to this process and have the knowledge to do the build, i want your quality parts and your opinion just didnt know how to get the ball rolling with ya sorry for the random post. thanks, John
Yes, you are right, I am very busy. I am a 1 man shop with a very, very part-time machinist. So, therefore, I can only give technical help on the parts we handle. Feel free to ask any questions on our products.
i found this part list from one of your customers on the ford truck forum i am on posted 8 years ago or so i guess im curious as to if i can still purchase this stuff from you? i am also interested in valves and roller rockers. i dont really know whats available to me and id like some sort of gameplan, it says contact us to assemble your stroker kit i assumed id get to talk to someone before making a large purchase and be guided in the right direction in order to have a reliable motor, not looking for 500HP race motor. thanks for your reply sir

That's an oldie...
We closed our automotive machine shop 3 years ago. I removed the assembly option...forgot it was up there.
All we do is sell parts via the web site, and manufacture the Track Boss products. What you see on our website is what we offer...
ok, so if wanted the rotating assembly with everything i see on that list for the 400M assembly that would not be available until april?
The old invoice you shared is just a rebuild using the 400 hyper pistons with OE 400 crankshaft. April is the ETA for the crankshaft, for the stroker kit.

hey Tim, waiting to hear back from machine shop so i can order some pistons and other components from ya not going with stroker kit. i have a question about my block that noone can seem to answer so im curious if you know. my ford machinist has never seen these plugs hes 70 yrs old and been around them his entire life. appreciate your time!

what those plugs are for that i drew arrows to, and does that make this block undesirable? i read your block identification page im happy to see its not an early michigan block unfortuntely i never checked the stamp before giving it to the shop, wondering what else i should watch out for with the early blocks
