I haven't looked at the block in my car yet, 50yrs of crud to scrape off first, but was wondering if there is a major difference in car vs truck blocks and or what it is and also looking around I found a list of ford casting numbers that says some 1st gen blocks were high nickle blocks, specifically D1AE w no other numbers..? Idk if any of this is true, just curious if you had any idea.   https://www.enginelabs.com/engine-tech/a-guide-to-ford-v8-engine-block-casting-numbers-1952-1996/ Thanks for your time and no rush.
