Suggested cam specs and detonation question

I have to rebuild the existing 351M or stroke to 400 with Track Boss pistons for my '78 F-150 4WD. I spend nearly all of my driving in the 1800-2800 rpm range, and the stock 2150 2-bbl is simple and reliable. If I go with the 400 with Track Boss pistons, stock 2 bbl intake, and stock exhaust manifolds, what cam specs would work best for this?
Detonation
My understanding based on reading about Track Boss pistons is that even though the compression is higher with the these pistons, quench is improved so that detonation is improved. We've been running this 351M for 43 years now, and it's always required 93 octane fuel to keep it from detonating. I'm hoping that the Track Boss pistons and straight up cam timing that I may be able to run 87 or 89. What do you think?
Thank you.

As far as detonation, we have sold almost 9000 pistons to date. Almost everybody will install a 4bdl cab & intake. Seems like that better fuel distribution & mixture is better and helps. The few times I do hear an issue has been a customer from a state that requires certifications to get new license tabs, and have to swap to original induction. Again, seems to be tied to the original 2bdl carb.
Watching how fast the ignition timing comes in has to be watched also.
