Balancers & Timing Indicators

Pictured is three different balancers and timing indicators from different Cleveland family engines.

Three different balancers. All are the same length and have the same imbalance.

 

Balancer styles 1 & 2: you can see the timing marks. The yellow mark on the seal surface marks the keyway.

Balancer style 3: you can see the timing marks. The yellow mark on the seal surface is the keyway.

Indicator #1 (passenger side) is by far the most popular. This one is 10 o’clock position.

#2 indicator (passenger side). 11 o’clock position.

#2 indicator in use on the passenger side location.

#3 Is rare & locates on the driver side.

#3 indicator in use on the driver side.
