Lifter-true Cleveland Block

These pictures show the misalignment of the lifter bore to the camshaft center line.

Step 1 – BHJ Fixture mounted onto the block.

 

Step 2 – The block is set in our boring machine and the lifter bores are machined according to the blueprint. This fixture allows us to correct the lifter bores to the proper location and to the centerline of the camshaft.

 

Step 3 – We leave the BHJ system attached while we install the bushings.

 

Step 4 – This is where we are picky. We leave the fixture on so we can semi-size the bushing. We then hone the remaining few .0001″
